Last week I had the pleasure of photographing stylist turned beauty guru, Linda Rodin, outside her NYC apartment. Besides working full time on her skincare line, Rodin olio lusso, Linda has become a favorite among fashion bloggers, and is currently featured in the J.Crew catalog. Linda believes that lots of sleep and a good diet are two of the keys to aging gracefully.
When it comes to looking older she says,"First of all it's not easy getting older. It catches up on you all of a sudden. It's definitely more interesting to let yourself go through the process than do a bunch of surgery and get addicted to a face that's not even yours. You can't chase youth. You'll just look older with a face lift." Check out more of Linda's story and her amazing Rodin olio lusso products HERE.
( For those of you who asked about Linda's lip color she is wearing Make Up Forever, #16 pencil, then Make Up Forever lipstick #36. Under both: Fran Wilson's green mood matcher)

What is that awesome lip color she's wearing?
She looks great and seems to be such a nice person. :-)
She is truly a graceful aging beauty.
I am also in my sixties and trying to age gracefully as well, I don't mind aging but I refuse to become OLD, that is a state of mind,

Exquisite!
Smart lady, and utterly gorgeous. LOVE her lipstick!
This is wonderfull.
what a sylish and beautiful woman.....and love the photography of her and her dog.....I agree totally with her about going the non surgery route.....people who have extreme plastic surgery all start looking like they are related to each other......any individuality is taken away......its kind of like putting plastic covers on your beautiful sofa(like in the 1950's by some).....not wanting any sign of age or blemish to happen.....rather than surgery she keeps herself beautiful thru sleep, diet, weight control and personal style.....love it!!!!!
She is so fabulous. LOVE her style especially those turquoise shoes.
I hope I manage to age as beautifully and gracefully. What a delightful inspiration!
Sophisticated,glamorous and super chic.
What a chic lady! I hesitate to say lady because nowadays this automatically implies an age. Ms Rodin is effortless and ageless in her example of living. She could teach us all a thing or two about grace.
She definitely personifies "Ageing Gracefully". The hot pink colour looks gorgeous on her, especially with her lovely grey hair. Even her dog has a stylish cut!
This is exactly what I want to look like when I'm older!!! Her hair is stunning and her dress perfect. What a wonderful lady, and wise words too :)

She's gorgeous! I lover her skirt, and her perspective on aging. I definitely agree with her.
Stunning and fabulous. I love the colors. And the dog.
What an elegant lady. A total inspiration. Was there any more to the interview? I'd love to hear more about her thoughts on things...
Oh...she's wonderful.
YES plastic surgery does lead to getting "addicted to a face that isn't even yours"! Those who run for the botox will end up looking 100% fake and totally ill at ease because they are not comfortable with who they are. Beautiful women embrace their age, put on a lovely lipstick and have fun getting dressed up! Right on Advanced Style!
What a beauty!! I love the blue with the black in her outfit. Stunning!!
She looks fabulous.
She looks 100% fabulous.
What an absolute stunner!
What an utterly beautiful, stunning lady, inside and out, from her silver tresses to her glorious aqua shoes. I love her sage advice and I personally give her extra kudos for being an obvious animal lover. Our 4-legged family members keep us eternally young.
Even her doggie is stylish!
I so very much agree with her:
let yourself go through the process than do a bunch of surgery and get addicted to a face that's not even yours.
Brilliant, my dear Ari.
