I was running errands on the Upper East Side when I ran into one of my favorite Advanced Stylistas, Christina Viera. Christina is a master at mixing unexpected combinations of patterns and proportions to create a smart, idiosyncratic look.She told me that she always dressed differently but as she has gotten older she has felt a great freedom to wear whatever she wants.

That's awesome - I think the older we get the more we feel confident with ourselves, and don't worry what others think - this is the beauty of older ones - they are grounded and know what they want.

I love her comment about being free to wear what she wants now that she is older. I just hope when I'm older what I want isn't sweatpants and mumus.
