At Bloomingdales

I spotted this beautiful lady at the cafe in Bloomingdales and had to ask her for a photo. I love photographing strong, confident older women because they are great examples for all of us to live fuller, richer lives.

Your blog makes me think of the Anne Duffy poem, 'Warning' It starts with, 'When I am an old woman I shall wear purple.' Great pictures.

In this post, Ari, you answered my question: - What is the reason for shooting elderly women. Glad to know that inspire you, as I am a lady 65 years young love seeing valuing older ..

I so desperately want to know her story.

She looks like she was a ballerina.

Just gorgeous.

Holy moly, could this woman be any more fabulous? As a fashionista in my early thirties who has always been terrified of growing old, your blog has shown me that fashion need not die with age. These women put my style to shame! Love, love, love.

This beautiful striking lady (I wish we knew her name) looks like a silent screen goddess - she is my all-time Advanced Style favourite (with Beatrix Ost and Joyce Carpati)- I want to look like this in 30 years time, and as a milliner all these women are an absolute dream!!!
