The other day Debra and her lovely boyfriend Stan had some of my friends and I over for some Latkes. We celebrated the holidays together by singing songs, opening up Debra's wonderful handmade gifts, and in the end we went outside for a snowball fight. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM ADVANCED STYLE!
I absolutely love your blog. It's getting me through my middle-age fashion crisis seeing these stylish and creative urbanites on the other side of 40. So much relaxed yet edgy individualism! Very inspiring...
Many good wishes to you for the holidays and the year beyond! Your wonderful blog is a source of cheer and inspiration . . . a blessing to me! xxoo Patty
Hi, puncturebicycle :) i at 50+ have gotten to the point where i want people to like me for who i am inside, no matter how stylish or frumpish i may be on the outside. (i'm testing my own vanity: not coloring my grey hair.) The stylish styles on Advanced Style are indeed eyecatching; and it's very interesting to see how each person is creative in his or her own way.
A gracious and kind heart never goes out of style, whereas clothing styles come and go at the whim of today's seasonal changes.
These women are very inspiring. Their distinct character leaves me feeling warm, and with a sense of satisfaction that I'll never have to give up eclectic or over the top fashions. my warmest cheer.
Just discovered this blog through Rice Freeman-Zachery. Wonderful! I'm so inspired by Debra and all the other personalities here. Thank you for bringing them to our attention.
